With the situation around the world changing so rapidly, we often feel a little bit lost and terrified. Believe me, I was there too! It is why I want to help and show you some quarantine ideas for when you need to stay at home. Check our list of activities to keep you busy in lockdown!
Let’s start from the most obvious ones:
#1 Set up the website (or blog!)
If you do not have one yet, it is a perfect time! A personal blog will help you share your story and thoughts with friends and family. For company owners, It is a great option to build brand awareness and stay in touch with your customers. If no, you can create a personal blog to share some stuff with friends and family.

When working from home, it is crucial to make yourself a working space, which will help you focus and work more efficiently. It does not need to be room. If you live in a small flat, a corner of the room will more then enough. If you have a laptop, avoid working on the couch or in the bed as it really does not favor productivity.

It is one of those activities that will keep you occupy in lockdown and can be very entertaining. As a result, you will start doing things faster with fresh ideas in mind. It is even more important if you are working as a designer or need to be very creative at work.

#5 Start planning
Finally, the crème de la crème of things you can do during extra free time. Planning is everything, and I definitely agree with that. Below is a list of just a few things you can start planning if you are not doing so yet.
What to plan during the lockdown:
- Groceries, so you spend less time shopping and outside your house
- Meals, particularly if you stocked some food already
- Free time, so you spend more time doing something productive
- Expenses, to keep your budget in check
