I recently finished a gorgeous, feminine custom design for Megan from M for Love. Megan is a beautiful, thoughtful, vibrant mama and wife who I would love to introduce you to! So without further ado, meet today’s featured client Megan:
How long have you been blogging?
I’m pretty new to the blog world, only been at it for six months. I’m having a great time though. It was love at first write. 😉
What made you decide to start a blog?
I ran across a blog post one time that really moved me, made me feel connected to another person and what she was going through. I wanted to be a part of such a great thing, connecting with others and sharing our life. I also wanted a place to store a reel of our days, words for my daughter and all passions in my life: creative little bits, fashion, and dressing my babe (and hopefully yall’s) through a small venture called M printed.
What has been the biggest unexpected perk or bonus of your site and being online?
When I started blogging I started looking at our days a bit more closely. I started recognizing the details that I wanted to remember and share. Blogging really helps you FOCUS on how unique and valuable each day, each moment, each person really is.
Tell us about the design makeover process? How did you choose the colors, fonts and ideas that inspire your personal brand?
A bit of my design was inspired by parts of other blogs that struck me as beautiful. I loved the idea of simple, airy, lovely, watercolors mixed with calligraphy. It’s seriously my heart in blog form- if that’s possible.
How did you find / hear about Designer Blogs?
Google did me right.
Designer Blogs, and Kristin in particular, was a true delight to collaborate with. She listened to what I wanted, gave me input, and was willing to shoot emails back and forth until every detail was perfect. If a person’s kindness, creativity, knack for detail can be transmitted through a computer, hers can. Thanks, DB’s for decorating the beautiful little world I go to write, M for Love.
